Eligibility – Any DPPA member in good standing may enter. |

Dues – Membership dues must be paid and received by the DPPA Treasurer by Nov 1st. |

Entry Fee –There is $5.00 dollar entry fee per print. A maximum of 6 prints can be entered. Only the top (4) scoring print will be tabulated towards the annual awards ceremony. There will be a cash drawing for those who enter as a bonus. |

Entry Form and Certification – A signed entry form must be enclosed with your entry. Entries without your signature will not be judged. We have provided you with the print identification labels. Please tape the proper label to the lower left corner on the back of each entry. |

Identification of entries – All entries must be titled. Not doing so will disqualify your entry. The following items must not appear on the front of the entry: Title, name of maker, tape covering anything, seals or ribbons. Titles that are an integral part of the photograph are permitted. |

Subject matter – Not restricted. All entries must be designated by the maker in the following classifications: Portrait, Illustrative and Wedding/Event. |

Deadline – Entries must arrive by 7:00 PM November 17th. Only one entrant per case. We suggest the case be a fiber or similar style print case. However boxes will be accepted. The Print Committee will re-pack your entries and release them after the Competition. |

Judging Procedures – Professional Photographers of America procedures and scoring will be used in this exhibit, except for changes covered within these rules. Quartz or halogen lighting source to produce incident reading of F-16 at 1 sec. ASA 100. A maximum of five (5) and a minimum of three (3) judges will sit on a jury. Three of the judges must have attained the Master of Photography Degree. The rest must have at least (5) Exhibition merits from P.P. of A. |

Each juror has the privilege of challenging a photograph. A challenge may raise or lower score. The final score will be tabulated. Circumstances may make it necessary to ask questions or give information. In such cases the chairperson will rule on the questioned situation. There must be at least two (2) Blue Ribbon photographs in a category to select Best of Category Winner. If a single print is in any category then that print is eligible for Best of Show. The Best of Show winner will be selected from all The best of Categories. |

Jury Chairman is not allowed to enter competition. Judges are not allowed to enter competition year that they are judging. |

Any problem arising prior to, or during the judging not specifically covered by these rules will be decided by the Print Chairperson. That decision will be final. |

Any entries not in compliance with these rules will be automatically disqualified. No Exceptions. |

1. Category Rules:
a. General Exhibit: Portrait, Illustrative and Wedding/Event: A maximum of six entries may be submitted. No two or more images may be of the same subject. This includes the same model in different clothing or in separate sessions. Each entry must be distinctly different. All prints must be mounted on a 16x20 mount board (No Masonite). Mounting not to exceed a maximum of 3/8” (including print, mat and mount). Please note – Both over and under matting are acceptable within thickness limits.
b. Masters: May enter larger odd shaped prints as long as they are within PPA guidelines and are marked on the forms that you hold a PPA Master of Photography degree. Maximum 480 square inches to a minimum of 80 square inches. Maximum length is 24”. |

1. Entrants may submit photography in any of the following classifications:
a. Portraits—Photographs of brides or weddings may not be entered in this category.
b. Candid/Candid Wedding—All photographs pertaining to brides, wedding or social events must be entered in this category.
c. Illustrative—All photographs not entered under portrait, wedding/candid wedding must be entered in this category. |
