Our President's Message

It is an honor to be President of DPPA this year. I have honestly learned so much by being an active member. When I joined many years ago, I loved watching the images of the incredible photographers who were speaking and learned so much from them. I have learned from other photography friends in our Association the real and substantial opportunities and successes they have experienced. I have also learned from our great vendors about what equipment, products and services work for me. It has truly been a much appreciated learning experience.

Your DPPA membership is an opportunity to learn from the very best and most successful photographers who are willing to share their skills and successful practices and techniques with you at our monthly meetings and events. Skills and techniques that can translate into personal photographic growth and more success in your business is what the DPPA is designed to achieve.

Since the business and craft of photography has radically changed over the past 20 years, your DPPA is changing as well. The Board of Directors intends to keep us up to date and bring in photographers to speak about the latest trends in photography. I often tell our clients that we are able to stay up with these latest trends because we study with photographers from around the country. We are also able to offer the latest in photography products because we have great vendors supporting us in DPPA, displaying samples of innovative products and discussing how we can use these products in our businesses.

In these difficult economic and business conditions cost are a very serious concern. Membership in DPPA is an investment in your future. I truly believe it's not a matter of how much does it cost, it's a question of how can I possible afford to not be a member and take advantage of these opportunities.

There truly is so much value in belonging to our Association. You can't afford not to be a member of DPPA!
